A Kickback is a multimedia experience inspired by three Black-owned bars in Brooklyn that I frequently patronize for lively gatherings, playful flirtations, and the thrill of being noticed. This experience invites the Eater audience to explore these hidden gems, weaving together trend reporting, photography, collage work, and atmospheric video.
